Te Whanga Farm

Te Whanga was purchased in 1936 by PJ Borthwick and is one of NZ’s iconic sheep and beef stations. Home to 10,000 sheep and 700 Angus Stud cattle, the station is well developed and maintained with a focus on environment sustainability.

Traditional farming values will see the station farmed for the future. Natural springs feed many of the waterways and provide artesian quality water for the families that live and work on the station. The continual planting of trees and resting of native bush allows fantastic natural species to exist amongst the stations stock.
