Winemaking: A small vintage for the Riesling due to a frosty spring. The grapes were hand picked and processed quickly to minimize the phenolics and retain the delicate aromatics. Fermented with indigenous yeast and left on yeast lees for 6 months to enhance the flavour and develop further complexities.

Tasting Notes: The 2002 Riesling has an enticing aroma of limes, ginger and stone fruit. A long lingering finish with crisp flavors has created a wine with definition and enjoyment now. Time in bottle will show the fantastic developing complexities of great Riesling.
